we need YOU!

Each year we rely on hundreds of volunteers to breathe life into our programs from start to finish.  There are many ways to become involved!  To sign up as a volunteer, please review the volunteer requirements and then click on the link below for the volunteer form. If you are interested but, but not sure where you fit in, let us know - we have a place for you!

All volunteers are required to sign a waiver and consent to a background check.  This is a requirement due to the fact that we work with young girls.  The cost to us is $10 per person.  If you are able to help by paying for your background check, please mail in a check for $10 with your signed background check form and waiver.  If not, just check the box on the mail in form that you are requesting GOTR to cover your fee and we will do so.  Your volunteer application will not be complete until the form (and check if you are able to pay) are received in our office.  Volunteers over the age of 18 will need to enter their social security number on the form so that we can do the required background check.  Thank you!

Click here to download the volunteer information and background check form.  This is for race volunteers and others who don't intend to coach.

If you are interested in BECOMING A COACH, our process is slightly differnent and we will do your background check via LiveScan at Coach Training.  Click here to fill out the coach application and visit our "starting a new program" page if you would like to bring the program to your school.
