Race registration is now open! Remember, if your daughter is registered for the program at one of our spring 2012 sites, you do not need to register her for the race as that is part of her program registration. However, all others - including running buddies - must register. Registration is just $25 through March 15th and there are family discounts available for families of 4 or more (*does not include program girls). This is our 9th annual Girls on the Run 5k in Vasona Park, and we expect it to be our best event yet! This year we are moving to a new venue within the park. Our start/finish area will be near the boat center. We will be starting near the Peppertree gate at University Avenue and reversing the course we've had in previous years. Be sure to check out our new course map and we hope to see you on May 19th!

5.14.11 - what a great day!

Thank you to all of our 5k participants, volunteers and sponsors for another great event this year! This year over 2500 runners celebrated the girls' 10 week preparation of their bodies, minds and spirits to take part in this event.

We send our sincere gratitude to the 200 volunteer coaches, 200 race day volunteers, fantastic race committee and the Silicon Valley organizations, schools, individuals and businesses who supported and sponsored this event. Thank you for cheering our girls on every step of the way!
